The Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) is a non-profit organization that is devoted to enhancing the educational experience of every student in every school. This organization works to provide access to an exceptional education and a supportive university community by offering programs, raising funds, and uniting the community in support of educational excellence. IPSF has been actively engaged in initiatives that benefit the mental health of students in the Irvine Unified School District. Additionally, IPSF has been providing STEAM-related activities to thousands of families for more than seven years.
The foundation also offers numerous ways to make donations to the university in support of its many academic and general programs. On Saturday, January 27th, IPSF partnered with the Matt Leinart Flag Football League and on Sunday, October 22nd, IPSF collaborated with Irvine Youth Sports to organize the 37th edition. On Sunday, July 22nd, IPSF partnered with the Angels Baseball Foundation to organize the 6th edition and the seventh annual Aces &. IPSF is also responsible for a new pilot enrichment program from the Irvine Unified School District called Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP).
This program is designed to increase access for qualified elementary students to participate in enrichment opportunities on school campuses after school and on certain non-school days (not on weekends). The successful candidate will monitor and instruct students in these activities. The mission of IPSF is to provide programs, raise funds and unite the community in support of educational excellence. By doing so, IPSF contributes to a meaningful experience that improves teaching and learning at Irvine Valley College. The impact of IPSF on the community is far-reaching.
