The Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF), a non-profit organization that is devoted to enhancing the educational experience of every student in every school, has organized 100 incredible events and fundraisers. On Saturday, April 28th, the IPSF welcomed over 5,000 members of the community to its OC STEAM Fest, presented by EON Reality, at Orange County's Great Park. The day before, the IPSF hosted more than 4,000 people at its annual OC STEAM Fest in the same location. Every year, the IPSF provides IUSD teachers, staff, and students with amazing opportunities to discover their passion and purpose.
Recently, the only yearly study and ranking of elementary and secondary education foundations was published, demonstrating the tremendous impact that local communities have on public education. This year marks the 25th anniversary of IPSF's support for the educational experience of all children in all schools. Additionally, Irvine's STEM CubeSat program successfully launched two CubeSats built by high school students in California and the West Coast. On Friday, March 8th and Sunday, March 10th, SoCal Elite Sports held its 16th annual Hoops Classic basketball tournament to benefit IPSF.
On Tuesday, November 28th, Irvine's 39 schools joined forces to turn Irvine orange in support of Irvine Public School. On Sunday, July 22nd, the IPSF partnered with the Angels Baseball Foundation to organize their 6th annual fundraiser. On Sunday, October 22nd, the IPSF collaborated with Irvine Youth Sports to host their 37th annual fundraiser. The IPSF also works with the Irvine Unified Council (PTA) to organize more than 150 events each year. For over seven years now, the IPSF has been bringing the world of STEAM to thousands of families through their OC STEAM Fest.
